Gilmore Medical Practice -6 Months Locum Cover

We are looking for a GP to cover maternity leave for 6 months, days of work would be All day Monday and two other sessions to be agreed so 4 sessions in total per week.

Our sessions consist of  6 acute prescriptions, 12 appointments in the morning and afternoon for routine sessions. Duty Dr sessions consist of  6 acute prescriptions 4 same day appointments and 4 follow up appointment, you will also have to cover the Emergency doctor column, and this may include a home visit if Duty Dr (This is very rare).

We are based in the City Centre of Edinburgh.  We are a training practice and you may be asked to have medical students sitting in on your surgery or to supervise trainees.
