Who can register on Locum Scotland?
Managers and Administrators of GP Practices are welcome to register their practice with our website in order to post Locum and other GP vacancies on our Jobs Board.
Representatives of practices who register can be Practice Managers, other members of the practice administrative staff or GPs themselves.
What areas do you cover?
Any medical practice in Scotland can join the Locum Scotland website.
If you’re in the Borders or on the Isle of Lewis – feel free to join and start advertising your locum vacancies.
What is the annual advertising cost on Locum Scotland?
We only charge a small fee of £39 per year. There is no restriction on how many jobs you can post per year.

What is the application process?
Register on the Locum Scotland Website
Join today by registering on our website. Simply fill in your details: Contact Name, Practice Name & Address, Telephone Number and Email address.
Pay the annual fee / Set up the Direct Debit
Membership payments are automated and collected by Direct Debit. We use GoCardless to process payments. We do not accept bank transfers or cheque payments.
After you have registered, you will be asked to provide payment information.
Your membership is approved within 1-2 days
Our membership coordinator checks new applications daily on weekdays. Once your details habe been checked and the payment has been submitted, your membership will be approved. This normally can take 1-2 days, but is usually faster.

Include the fees you offer for the locum position.
Always check everything has been entered correctly
When you first register, we will monitor your locum positions for 1 month to make sure your posts are correct. After that, posts are auto-approved.
