We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Locum GP to join our welcoming and supportive team for 4 sessions per week, covering the sick leave of one of our GP Partners.

Located in the heart of rural Fife, Auchtermuchty Health Centre is a well-established semi-rural practice offering a positive working environment, excellent administrative support, and a strong team ethos. We pride ourselves on being a great place to work, where colleagues are approachable, supportive, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Easily commutable from Dundee (14 miles), Edinburgh (33 miles) and Glasgow (54 miles), with large free on-site parking available.

What We Offer

  • 4 sessions per week, ideally Thursdays and Fridays
  • Cover anticipated until the end of 2026
  • 15-minute appointments
  • 22 appointments per day, comprising a mix of telephone and face-to-face consultations
  • Option to request all face-to-face appointments if preferred
  • Clinical system: EMIS
  • Workflow management via Docman
  • Fully digitised medical records
  • Digital dictation available
  • Large free on-site parking
  • Home visits only required when acting as the on-call clinician for the day
