We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic GP to join our team for a maternity locum post, working all day on Fridays from 8 January 2027 until 30 July 2027. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established, supportive training practice and to get to know us ahead of anticipated future GP opportunities within the practice.

Based in the heart of Corstorphine, our practice benefits from excellent transport links and easy access to Edinburgh city centre, the bypass and wider commuter network.

We care for approximately 10,300 patients and have a welcoming, collaborative team consisting of:

  • 7 GP Partners
  • 3 Salaried GPs
  • 2 GP Registrars
  • 2 Practice Nurses
  • 1 highly skilled Treatment Room Nurse
  • 1 Healthcare Assistant and Phlebotomy Team
  • Experienced and supportive administration team

We are also fortunate to work alongside an extensive NHS Lothian multidisciplinary team, including in-house Pharmacists, Practice Mental Health Nurse and Paramedics, helping to ensure that GPs can focus on providing high-quality patient care.

As a long-established training practice, we are passionate about education and professional development and regularly support GP Registrars and a variety of healthcare students. We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, supportive environment where colleagues know one another and work together as a team.
