Locum Full Day GP The Access Place

This session will be at The Access Place, 6 South Gray’s Close, Edinburgh EH1 1NA (our telephone number is 0131 529 5015).

The times for this full day are 0800 – 1300 and 13:30 – 18.00pm. Please contact the Practice Manager, Fiona Coleman (Fiona.Coleman@nhs.scot) on 07977 246725 or Tessa Johnstone (Tessa.Johnstone@nhs.scot), to book into this shift. Both can also be contacted on 0131 529 5015.

Number of Appointments: 10 per session – Only On the Day appointments will be used for this day.

Edinburgh Access Practice is a 2C practice so payment will be made by NHS Staff Bank with deductions at source and in arrears. If for any reason you run over the agreed hours let us know and payment will be amended. Payment is Level 4 (£65/hour) with a half hour unpaid lunch.

We do not do house visits. You will be well supported by all team members which includes Admin, Practice Nurse Team and a Practice Mental Health Team who are always more than happy to help.

Admin duties are responding to telephone messages, generating repeat prescriptions and processing some  Docman that may be workflowed to you.
