Wester Hailes Medical Practice is a well-established 2C (Health Board salaried) practice and a Training practice. Our list size is just over 8k, and in an area of high socio-economic deprivation. We have excellent support from our Nursing team (ANPs, Practice Nurses, Treatment Room, Healthcare Assts) as well as our in house Pharmacy Team, Mental Health Nursing Team, and Community Link worker.  Positive feedback from locums and a regular locum pool – join us!

Locum session – up to 12 on the day telephone triage appointments with your own f2f conversion slots to book into. (up to 3 of these may have been prebooked as f2f at the request of our regular GPs, and anything prebooked is accounted for in the 12 patient contact/session cap). 6 acute/repeat script request/med review slots. A protected tea break and lunch aligned with the team.  Our salaried GPs cover the duty doctor sessions.  We are a Vision/DOCMAN practice.

Let us know if you need any information about bicycle storage (we are located just off the canal cycle path), showers, or electric vehicle charging. Car parking is free and if the Healthy Living Centre car park is full, there is plenty of space on surrounding streets. Please note the shopping centre car park now has a small charge if staying >4hrs.
